Bergans Slingsby 3L Jacket

This is the most technically advanced shell jacket we have ever made! A durable yet lightweight garment made from the highest performing materials there is. Packed with all those details, functions and features a true mountaineer will appreciate. Slingsby 3L Jacket is made from two different qualities of the Dermizax®NX fabric, providing maximum weather protection and outstanding breathability. The jacket is customized and shaped according to our innovative design concept 3D In Action. This means that the different choices our designers have made in the development of the product is based on studies of athletes climbing and scrambling, and extensive material research and testing. The result is outstanding fit deliberately shaped for mountaineers, of mountaineers.

Fabric
3-Layer Dermizax®NX with 2-way stretch. Waterproof (water column: min. 20,000 mm), windproof and unique breathable properties. Low weight and minimal packing volume.

Hood
Climbing-helmet-compatible fixed, adjustable hood. Concealed one-hand adjustment with extra good grip. Can be folded down in the neck. High, tight-fitting collar.

Ventilation
Long underarm zip vents.

Pockets
Front pockets in mesh for optimal breathability and ventilation. Small mesh pocket inside the left front pocket suitable for transmitter/receiver (avalanche transceiver). The design ensures that front pockets don't interfere with the climbing harnesses or hip belt when carrying a backpack. A mesh fan on the lowest part of the pocket opening keeps pocket contents safer.

Additional features
Recco® reflector on hood. Extra wide opening at wrists to pull the jacket over gloves. Velcro cuff adjustment. Concealed one-hand elastic drawstring at hem via front pockets. Reflective details. Extended back.
