Spacious pockets on the legs and back of the bibs complement bags on the bike or add to existing jersey storage options for multi-day expeditions into the wilds. With five pockets in total, they swallow snacks and supplies in total security, giving you the option to wear a more relaxed tech tee or top instead of a traditional cycling jersey. At the heart of the bib is a custom Elastic Interface chamois designed to our exacting specifications with High-Density Foam through the center channel and a completely air-permeable perforate top layer. This means that from road to gravel and everything in-between, the MK3 breathes, cushions, and feels amazing on sensitive areas, delivering unmatched comfort from dawn to dusk. Throughout the MK3, Clean Finish tailoring places seams and sewing lines away from action points to present smooth surfaces at every turn—including at the straps, where soft, shoulder-friendly material blends with the bibs to create a supportive fit. In combination with a compressive body fabric, the MK3 also sports seamless raw edges detailed with printed silicone grippers. By extending the body fabric to the hem, the MK3 does away with overeager grippers, helping the bib to fit smoothly and evenly across the leg. But whatever you want to call it, Glidepath is our signature full-featured mountain bike short. Much-loved, much copied, much awesome. This season, Glidepath goes for gold with our newly developed belt system and dual fly snaps, one of which is internal. The new belt system makes tuning the fit simpler and even more precise, while the extra snap provides reassuring control. Like most of our range, the Glidepath now features a large proportion of recycled fabric. It also switches things up with a new 14 inch inseam, down from the previous season's 15 inches, and a slightly altered fit to better align with the Farside Long short. Unchanged, though, is Glidepath's supreme, smartly-positioned stow space. The short leads with dual, zippered thigh pockets and dual hand pockets, the latter sporting an inner mesh slip pocket. It's cut closer and short than Glidepath, and the perfect silhoutte for riders who don't wear knee pads. Farside features a soft double-weave face for durability and a looped yarn backer, a material that dries fast and feels fabulous against the skin. Dual, side hand pockets present a classic short aesthetic, accompanied by an extra side zippered pocket to stow a smartphone, light snacks, or even a folded map, placed to allow the legs freedom to pedal. Clean finish laminated hems ensure smooth moves with every turn of the cranks, while reinforced crotch seams better resist the rough and tumble of the trail. Reflective details and a zippered fly complete the short.
